The Ranch of Lonesome Dove is situated within just a few minutes of the entire metroplex of 7.5 million folks. Need room to stretch? Well, we have 63 acres of manicured lawns and fields, all with an incredible view of Lake Grapevine. Our 14,400 square foot air conditioned building can hold a lot of folks and keep them cool in the Texas heat! Our building has a complete entertainment and sound system, stage, bar, soft drink stations and to many more things to mention here.
We specialize in Texas ranch weddings and receptions! We have a quaint, beautiful historic Texas church right on the property. The Lonesome Dove wedding chapel can hold 100+ guests in air conditioned comfort with all modern facilities! We also pride our selves on our gorgeous Wedding Gazebo. When the Wedding Gazebo is all decked out for your wedding, well the pictures will tell the story for ever! Best of all both the Wedding Chapel and the Wedding Gazebo are just steps from the reception building!
Now even though we specialize in weddings, let me tell you there is nothing better than our company events! If you are planning a holiday party, team building event, business meeting, conference, summit, picnic, or just want to throw a shindig for your customers or employees, this is the place! Why go to the average, every body is doing it, hotel or restaurant conference room? Do something different, come out to the Ranch of Lonesome Dove and wow them! GENERAL INFORMATION
Location:
The Ranch of Lonesome Dove offers the rustic beauty of a Texas oasis. Located on 63 acres overlooking picturesque Grapevine Lake, 15 minutes from the DF/W International Airport off State Route 114.
Entertainment Center:
The Entertainment Center is 14,400 square feet and can accommodate up to 700 guests with a 2000 square foot dance floor for formal seating or up to 750 guests for a social gathering. Seating will be at tables, which seat 8 - 10 guests each, unless otherwise requested. The Entertainment Center has a large entertainment stage , P A System for up to 750 guests, large wooden deck, and 2000 square foot patio providing a stunning view of Grapevine Lake. The Ranch of Lonesome Dove does not have a guest limit on outside/inside events (Company Picnics, Family Reunions, School Retreats, Team Building, or Employee Fun Days);
Food and Beverage:
All food served in the Ranch of Lonesome Dove is to be provided and catered by The Ranch of Lonesome Dove. The Ranch of Lonesome Dove requires one menu for all guests although dietary substitutes may be made in advance. There is no refund of monies paid for an event unless the event date can be resold. All services are subject to customary 18% service charge and 7.25% local sales tax. No alcoholic beverages may be brought onto or leave the premises when a cash bar is provided. Due to state law, no one under 21 years of age will be served or sold alcoholic beverages. You have three choices for alcoholic beverages:
- Because we are on private property and do not have a liquor license; you are permitted to bring your own alcoholic beverages.
- Cash Bar or Open Bar.
- You may choose not to have alcoholic beverages. Our bar set up fee is $250.00 whether you bring your own or have a cash bar and is included in all proposals.
Entertainment:
We have a large variety of Entertainment and Activities for your Event. Our greatest service is being able to offer you all the requirements for your Event at one site. Just one call will take care of it all. We handle all the details allowing you and your guests to enjoy the event. Your proposal does include our house disc jockey for 4½ hours.
Decorations: (2 Hours prior to the start of the Ceremony)
The Ranch of Lonesome Dove will be happy to assist you with your floral and other decorating needs. The Ranch of Lonesome Dove will not permit the affixing of anything to walls, floors or ceilings with nails, staples or tape unless other arrangements have been made.
Guarantees:
An approximate guest count is required at the time of booking. Confirmation of the number of guests attending must be made no later than 7 working days prior to the scheduled event. All charges will be based upon the guarantee, or the actual number of guests attending if greater than the guarantee. A 20% deposit is to be paid upon booking. Full payment shall be made 7 days in advance of the scheduled event unless other arrangements have been made.
Pets:
The Ranch of Lonesome Dove does not allow pets of any kind.
