The Ranch of Lonesome Dove is a Texas wedding and reception oasis located on 63 acres overlooking picturesque Grapevine Lake just 15 minutes from the DFW International Airport. We specialize in Weddings and Receptions in the Dallas and Fortworth area.

The most precious time in a couple's life together comes on the day they are wed. We appreciate you considering us as the location for this very special day. You have undoubtedly dreamed of the moment when you and your fiance will be announced as, "husband and wife". But there is so much to get done before then! Not to Worry - we are here to help that dream effortlessly become a reality. To make your wedding and reception planning as simple as possible.

Lots of places offer partial solutions to your wedding and reception needs. Without a doubt, our greatest service is being able to provide all your wedding and reception needs. We don't use a "plan B". Just one call can take care of it all. We handle all the details and let you and your families enjoy your wedding and reception.

Outside expect all the charm of a Texas ranch - ensconced amid our 63 acres of green fields and tall oak trees is a quaint wooden wedding gazebo providing a stunning view of the lake where the nuptials may take place. Indoors is the 14,400 square foot Entertainment Center for your wedding reception, with large beverage bar, separate soft drink and refreshment service, large dance floor and entertainment stage. It's just perfect for your wedding reception

WEDDING CEREMONY

YOU HAVE THREE CHOICES FOR YOUR CEREMONY SITE:

COST: $700 EACH

CEREMONY PACKAGE 1

BEAUTIFUL WHITE WOODEN GAZEBO CEREMONY

Beautiful white wooden gazebo overlooking Grapevine Lake:
You may exchange your vows outside in our beautiful white wooden gazebo surrounded by tall live oak trees standing in the middle of a well manicured lawn. It provides a stunning view of Grapevine Lake. The gazebo will be set up in a church style seating arrangement with white plastic lawn chairs for guest seating and a middle aisle. It has a Public Address System so guests can hear you say your vows. Our disc jockey will play background music for thirty minutes while while your guest are arriving. He will also play your wedding march. You will have a one hour ceremony rehearsal during the week of the wedding (Monday Through Thursday). Dressing rooms are available. Our beautiful Entertainment Center will be your back up in case of bad weather.

CEREMONY PACKAGE 2

WEDDING CHAPEL CEREMONY

Lovely quaint white wooden wedding chapel overlooking Grapevine Lake:
The chapel will accommodate up to 80 guests. It is surrounded by tall live oak trees and a manicured lawn. The chapel will be set up as follows:
  • White plastic chairs for guest seating with a middle aisle;
  • A public address system.
  • House disc jockey to play background music as your guests are arriving (30 minutes) and your wedding march;
  • Two large floral baskets,
  • white bows on reserved rows,
  • black player piano,
  • brass heart arch with greenery,
  • set of two candelabras with candles,
  • unity stand without candles,
  • and a mahogany easel.
  • One hour ceremony rehearsal during the week of the wedding (Monday through Thursday).

CEREMONY PACKAGE 3

RUSTIC CEREMONY

Rustic Entertainment Center with a stunning view of the gazebo area and Grapevine Lake. Entertainment Center which can accommodate up to 650 guests. It is used mainly as a reception site. However, it has several areas which can be used for a beautiful ceremony site. The area you select for your ceremony will be set up in a church style seating arrangement using black padded, or white plastic chairs with a middle aisle. A Public Address System so your guests can hear your vows being said. Our disc jockey will play background music thirty minutes prior to the start of your ceremony. He will also play your wedding march. One hour ceremony rehearsal during the week of the wedding (Monday through Thursday). Dressing rooms are available.

INCLUDED IN YOUR CEREMONY PACKAGE:

  • Exclusive use of provided facility.
  • Newlyweds are offered two hours for the wedding ceremony. The two hours include set-up time, decorations, wedding ceremony, and departure.
  • One hour Wedding Ceremony rehearsal Monday through Thursday during week of the wedding. You may purchase additional hours at $500.00 each.
  • White patio chairs for guest seating.
  • House carpet runner (gray).
  • Public address system.
  • House Disc Jockey to play background music prior to your ceremony.
  • Set up, breakdown, and clean up of ceremony location.
  • Dressing rooms are available in the main building.

IF NOT INCLUDED IN YOUR CEREMONY PACKAGE, THE FOLLOWING ITEMS CAN BE ADDED FOR THE COST LISTED BELOW:

  • White wooden lawn chairs at $3.50 each.
  • Aisle markers (set of 8) at $20.00.
  • Aisle markers (set of 8) with netting at $45.00.
  • Brass heart arch w/greenery at $70.00.
  • Large floral swag (your choice of 3) at $70.00 each.
Please note:
  • Wedding ceremony only: Provides for 2 hours of elapsed time. This includes chosen facility decoration, dressing, and the ceremony.
  • Wedding ceremony with reception to follow: Provides 2 hours prior to the ceremony for dressing and facility decoration, 30 minutes for the ceremony, and 4 hours for the reception.

WEDDING RECEPTION PACKAGE 1 (4 hours)

PROVIDED SERVICES:

  • Exclusive use of provided facility, including patio, bar, gazebo, dance floor and outdoor lakeside area.
  • We offer two hours prior to wedding reception start time (if not getting married here) for set-up time and decorations.
  • Round tables, chairs, and white linen tablecloths.
  • Private Bride and Groom dressing rooms.
  • Skirted white on white head table, gift table, cake table, & catering tables.
  • Vegetable tray with dips, served 45 minutes with unlimited consumption.
  • MEAL: PASTA STATION: (other selections available from menu sheet)Penne, tri colored rotini, bow tie, spinach fettuccini w/Marinara and Alfredo Sauces Marinated Chicken, Fresh Garlic, Chopped Onions, Sun Dried Tomatoes,Garlic Bread. The meal will be served buffet style for 1 hour and 45 minutes with clear plastic plates and silverware. Buffet attendants and servers.
  • Unlimited Drink Bar, which includes:
    • Soft Drinks
    • Coffee
    • water
    • ice, straws, napkins, sugar, creamer and sweet&low packets
    • Beverage server for each 100 guests
  • House disc Jokey and Master of Ceremonies (ceremony and reception)
  • On site coordinator to assist you with your wedding and reception planning.

    • Stuffed mushroom caps.
    • Cheese and cracker tray.
  • Carving Station and carver with choice of one of the following:
    • Prime Rib.
    • Pork Loin.
    • Glazed Ham.
    • Brest of Turkey.
    • (Served with Horseradish sauce, Dijon Mustard, and mini rolls on clear plastic plates)
  • MEAL: Pork Loin with Cranberry Sauce: (other menu selections available) Cesar or tossed Salad, baked potato w/fixins', glazed carrots, dinner rolls. Meal is served buffet style with china plates, flatware, cloth napkins for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  • Unlimited Drink Bar, which includes:
    • Soft Drinks

  • We offer the two hours prior to wedding reception start time (if not getting married here) for set-up time and decorations.
  • Private Bride and Groom dressing rooms.
  • Tables, chairs, and white linen tablecloths.
  • Skirted white on white head table, gift table, cake table, & catering tables.
  • Hors' Oeuvres(Served as guest arrive for 45 minutes with unlimited consumption) includes:
    • Fresh Vegetable Tray with dips.
    • Stuffed mushroom caps, stuffed with crab meat.
    • Cheese and cracker tray.
    • Fresh, in season fruit tray.
    • Cold pasta salad
    • Coconut chicken tenders
    • Assortment of mixed nuts
  • Carving Station and carver with choice of one of the following:
    • Prime Rib.
    • Pork Loin.
    • Glazed Ham.
    • Brest of Turkey.
    • (Served with Horseradish sauce, Dijon Mustard, and mini rolls on clear plastic plates)
  • MEAL: Roast beef with Mushroom Sauce or Skinless/Boneless Chicken Breast: (other menu selections available) Tossed Caesar salad, Au gratin potatoes, assorted vegetables, and French bread. Meal is served buffet style with china plates, flatware, cloth napkins for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  • Unlimited Drink Bar, which includes:

WE CAN ASSIST YOU WITH THE FOLLOWING SERVICES:

*Ranch Decoration Package: $500.00

All in white and cream. Includes: Large swag w/tulle around gazebo entrance poles, aisle markers with tulle, carpet runner, green decorated arch, ranch table center pieces of your choice (bride will provide candles or flowers), 2 fern baskets, gift buggy, mail box, small lattice (3 pieces) behind cake table;

*Rehearsal Dinner (2 hours 30 minutes):

$22.55 per person with a 25 person minimum and includes: Your choice of a menu item from The Ranch of Lonesome Dove Menu Sheet, House Disc Jockey, tables, chairs, and white linen table cloths.
Please add 20% service fee and 8.25% sales tax to above cost. You may bring your own alcoholic drinks.

*Non-Denominational Minister $300.00:

Minister includes ceremony rehearsal.

*Bride Wedding Cake and Groom Cake:

We will arrange a consulting meeting with our cake professional. Your every detail will be heard.

Photography Package:

We will arrange a consulting meeting.

Floral Package:

Our florist pro will work with you from your first planning appointment to your wedding day. Again, we will arrange a wedding consulting meeting.

Security Package:

We arrange for a uniformed off-duty police officer (1 per 100 guests) to be present during the event for $30.00 per hour per police officer.

Please let us know if you need assistance with any of the above services.
We will arracnge all meetings with any of our consultants and service providers who will listen to your every desire.
You only have to come here and we will bring everyone else to you or we can have them call you at your leisure.

MENU OPTIONS

RANCH BARBECUE:

Tender beef brisket, sliced chicken breast, and sausage served with bbq sauce, pinto beans, home-style potato salad, creamy coleslaw, pickles, peppers, onion slices, dinner rolls. Add Ham for an additional $2.50 per person or Sliced Turkey Breast for an additional $4.00 per person or or Pork Ribs for an additional $4.75 per person.

RANCH TEX-MEX:

Beef & Chicken Fajitas served w/Spanish rice, refried beans, guacamole, pica de gallo, fresh salsa, sour cream, cheese, tomatoes, and tortillas.

BONELESS, SKINLESS, CHICKEN BREAST:

W/tossed salad or  Caesar Salad, baked potatoes w/all the fixins’, green beans Almandine, dinner rolls.

PORK LOIN with CRANBERRY SAUCE:

W/tossed salad or  Caesar Salad, roasted potatoes, glazed carrots, dinner rolls.

Pasta Station:

Penne, tri colored rotini, bow tie, spinach fettuccini w/Marinara and Alfredo sauces, marinated chicken, fresh garlic, chopped onions, sun dried tomatoes, garlic bread.

Carving Station with Carver:

WE PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING MEAL SERVICE OPTIONS

  1. Package 1 served buffet style for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Service includes disposable plates, plastic silverware packets, white on white skirted serving tables, white linen tablecloths for guest tables, utensils, chafers, iced tea, coffee, soft drinks, lemonade, dinner rolls, and food attendants based on number of guests.
  2. Package 2, 3, and 4 come with buffet style service for 1 hour and 45 minutes with real plates, glasses, silverware, and linen napkins. Silverware wrapped in linen napkin on guest table, white linen tablecloths, chafers, dinner rolls, iced tea, coffee, and soft drinks. Attendants based on number of guests.
  3. Add real plates, silverware, and glasses for an additional $5.00 per person.
  4. Add plated table service for an additional $9.00 per person.

THE RANCH OF LONESOME DOVE HORS D’OUVRES

Cheese tray: $4.75 per person:
W/Monterey jack, cheddar, Swiss, jalapeno jack, and accompanied by crackers.

Garden Vegetable Tray: $4.25 per person:
W/broccoli and cauliflower fluorites, carrots, cherry tomatoes, zucchini, yellow squash, bell peppers, served with ranch dip.

In Season Fruit Tray: $4.95 per person:
W/seasonal sliced fresh fruits: Kiwi, strawberries, grapes, pineapple, honey dew, cantaloupe, watermelon, served with special sauce.

Mini Beef Wellington: $6.00 per person:
Served with rolls and condiments.

Coconut Chicken Tenders on skewers: $5.25 per person.

Hawaiian Chicken Tenders on skewers: $5.25 per person.

Spring Vegetable Egg Roll: $4.25 per person.

Egg Roll with Sweet and Sour Sauce: $4.25 per person.

Swedish Meatballs in sauce: $4.25 per person.

Scallops wrapped in bacon: $5.25 per person.

Fresh Shrimp Display (cocktail sauce): $8.00 per person.

All snacks served with clear plastic plates and silverware from skirted tables for 45 minutes.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OPTION:

BYOB:

You are welcome to bring your own alcoholic beverages. However, you must have a TABC bartender to serve your alcohol. We can provide the bartender for $125.00 for 4 hours for each 100 guests. If you provide your own, we must see his/her license. We arrange for a uniformed off-duty police officer (1 per 100 guests) to be present during the event while alcohol is being served at $250.00 for the first officer and $125 for each additional officer. There is a one time charge of $250.00 to set-up the bar with your provided beverages.

We have Margarita, Daiquiri, Pina Colada frozen drink machines available for rental for $125.00 each. Frozen drink mixes cost $25.00 each and will serve approximately 47-9 oz servings each. You will provide alcohol required for the mix you want. We can also arrange to have your kegs delivered.

Cash Bar:

The Ranch can arrange a Beer, wine, and margarita cash bar through an outside vendor at your request. Assorted imported and domestic beer, three types of house wine and Margaritas-on-the-rocks. Contractor buys two (2) beverage tickets (minimum 200) for each adult attending the event at $5.00 per beverage ticket. The bar becomes a cash bar when guests are out of beverage tickets.

BARTENDER: $125.00 EACH; BAR SET-UP FEE: $150.00

**We ask that you bring beer in cans or kegs, and wine in boxes.
